   Meet Annie!

 

 

 

 

     She has been in love with stories for as long as she can remember. Her first real taste of writing came in sixth grade when she entered a short story contest through her middle school. By the early 1990s, she was crafting stories on an electric typewriter at her dining room table while her kids napped, filling page after page with drama, suspense, and romance. Life, as it often does, pulled her in other directions, and the typewriter went into storage for more than a decade. But the stories never stopped calling.

     When Annie returned to writing, she brought with her a wealth of real-life experience. She had spent years as a firefighter and EMS provider, a 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Technician, and a Personal Care Technician in a level one trauma center.  Working many of these positions at the same time to make ends meet. Writing became her outlet during those intense years—scribbling on lunch breaks in the ER or after difficult calls—as a way to process the stress of jobs that were filled with urgency, heartbreak, and resilience. Those experiences, and the countless moments where life and death hung in the balance, now infuse her stories with authenticity, grit, and emotional depth.

     Today, Annie is a full-time indie author of romantic suspense, with two published novels and many more on the way. She is currently completing the series she first dreamed up years ago, weaving together danger, mystery, and love in every book. Her characters are often shaped by the kind of courage, determination, and quiet strength she witnessed throughout her career, and she delights in sharing those stories with readers who crave romance wrapped in tension and heart-pounding suspense.

     When she isn’t writing, Annie enjoys gardening, working out, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her family—including her much-loved fur babies. For her, writing isn’t just a career but a return to a lifelong passion, and she loves nothing more than connecting with readers who are ready to be swept into her world of danger and desire.
